The steering committee for the formation of a Hornsby Community Bank will meet at No. 2 meeting Room, 25 Edgeworth David Avenue, Hornsby, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11^th July, 2001.

Any interested persons are invited to attend.

The Community Bank movement in the Hornsby and surrounding districts is quickly gaining momentum. Galston is well advanced and is now proceeding to the formal stage of conducting a feasibility study to ascertain the viability of a community bank for their area.

The Hornsby and Berowra groups are looking towards supporting each other in the move to establishing a community bank in the Hornsby and Berowra areas.

In Hornsby a steering committee has been formed and is proceeding to informally survey local support to establish the need for a community bank. To date feedback from the business and private sectors has been positive.

Any interested parties are invited to attend the next meeting to be held in the No. 2 meeting Room, 25 Edgeworth David Avenue, Hornsby, at 7.30pm on Wednesday 11^th July, 2001.
