Several years ago it was realised that with a school directly attached to the church, there may not have been as much social interaction amongst parishioners as may have been desired. Family Parish Groups were set up, whereby all who were interested submitted their name and details and which were put in a hat and drawn out, so that a random mix of families where grouped together.
Over the years some of the groups disappeared, but those that remain are strong and vibrant with a variety of activities each month.
Here are the list of activities for the groups in 2002.
